The Mississippi Achievement School District (MASD) is excited to announce that Ida Greene Elementary School in Humphreys County has achieved “Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports Tier I Model Site” status for the 2023-2024 academic year. As part of The University of Mississippi Medical Center Project AWARE initiative, MASD has collaborated with The University of Southern Mississippi - REACH MS to enhance its positive behavioral support for both staff and students.
In recognition of this achievement, Ida Greene will receive a $500 incentive, a PBIS Model Site Banner, and lapel pins for all staff members from REACH MS. Additionally, Ida Greene Elementary School will be featured on the REACH MS website as a Tier I Model Site School for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The MASD extends its congratulations to Dr. Landfair, the principal of IGE, Ms. Shalonda Holmes, PBIS Coordinator, and the entire Ida Greene Elementary School staff for their unwavering dedication and hard work in improving the educational experience for all students. They are fulfilling the vision to make each scholar a success story.
